Following a number of complaints about large gatherings and associated anti social behaviour on some high profile and very popular parks and open spaces the Council took the decision to use the services of Magpie to provide onsite security and control access/egress to the facilities. This was very successful as they provided a high profile and reassuring presence, delivered sensitive interventions on a risk based approach plus the feedback on their conduct whilst carrying out their duties was very positive.
